Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Attends GITEX Global 2024 To Explore AI Innovations

H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, attended GITEX Global 2024. The event took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre with the theme "Global Collaboration to Forge a Future AI Economy." Sheikh Khaled explored numerous national and local pavilions, receiving updates on projects utilising AI and advanced technology to enhance digital transformation in government services.

During his visit, Sheikh Khaled also stopped by the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) pavilion. Here, he observed the council's latest technological advancements aimed at boosting research and development in AI technologies. Additionally, he visited the pavilions of e& and Space42, a UAE-based company focused on AI-driven space technology solutions.

Sheikh Khaled further explored the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) pavilion. SAMI is a prominent entity in the defence and security sector. His visit highlighted the importance of GITEX Global as a major annual exhibition for technology and startups worldwide.

The 44th edition of GITEX Global marks its largest event ever. It features 6,500 exhibitors, 1,800 startups, and 1,200 investors from over 180 countries. The exhibition brings together government bodies, investors, academic institutions, experts, and researchers globally.

Sheikh Khaled emphasised GITEX Global's role in enhancing Dubai and the UAE's position in the digital and technological arena both regionally and globally. He noted that this event reinforces the nation's status as a leading hub for adopting advanced technologies and leveraging artificial intelligence to predict future trends across various sectors.

"GITEX Global establishes the nation’s global standing as a leading hub for adopting advanced technologies," Sheikh Khaled stated. This underscores its significance in identifying future trends across key sectors through AI adoption.
