This collaboration has made significant strides in paediatric care, offering advanced medical solutions worldwide. Michelle Riley-Brown expressed gratitude to the UAE for its ongoing support, noting how it has enhanced medical services and improved outcomes for children through specialised treatments and early detection solutions.

The UAE's contributions include establishing the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation at the hospital in 2010 with an AED550 million fund. In 2022, an additional AED100 million grant from the UAE helped inaugurate the Children's National Research and Innovation Campus.

The UAE also provided US$35 million to support strategic health initiatives at Children’s National Hospital. This funding focuses on prenatal, neonatal, and maternal health advancements. The contribution coincided with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to the United States in September 2024.
