Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship Set For Abu Dhabi From May 2 To 4, 2025

The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation has announced the Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship – Round 3 for Gi competitions. This event is scheduled from 2-4 May 2025 at Mubadala Arena, located in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi. The championship will feature a diverse range of competitors, starting with youth (U18), adults, and masters categories on the first day.

On the second day, participants in the under-14 and under-16 categories will compete. The championship will conclude with the under-12 categories on the third day. This structure highlights the event's inclusive nature, offering a platform for both emerging talents and professional athletes to showcase their skills.

Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, stated that the championship's ongoing success reflects the leadership's vision to support and develop jiu-jitsu. "The continuous successes achieved by the championship across its various rounds embody the vision of the wise leadership in supporting and developing the sport of jiu-jitsu," he said.

Al Dhaheri highlighted that this tournament is more than just a sporting event; it includes a competitive ranking system for athletes. This system enhances competition among clubs and academies, boosts competitor efficiency, and provides incentives that increase interest in achieving top rankings and titles.
