K1 Pro Night Features 30 Fighters At Space 42 Arena In Abu Dhabi
The K1 Pro Night is set for Saturday, December 14, at Space 42 Arena in Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi. Organised by the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation with the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO Pro), this event aims to boost the sport's profile and enhance UAE athletes' performance in global competitions.
Participants from 24 countries will compete, including fighters from the UAE, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Japan, China, Brazil, Italy, Serbia, the Netherlands, Romania, Uzbekistan, and Morocco. This diverse lineup highlights Abu Dhabi's growing status as a kickboxing hub. The championship will feature 15 bouts showcasing top professionals across various categories and weight divisions.

The main event will see Serbia’s Nikola Todorovic face Spain’s Jordi Requejo Coronado for the World Super Middleweight Title. Todorovic has an impressive record of 27 wins with 15 knockouts. Requejo has achieved 13 wins with five knockouts. In another anticipated match-up, UAE national team star Mohammed Touizi will compete against Portugal’s Ricardo Hilario for the Intercontinental Flyweight Title.
All fighters underwent medical checks and weigh-ins today at Space 42 Arena. A press conference followed these procedures. Key figures present included Ali Khouri from the UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation and Carlos Ramognali of WAKO Pro. The main event fighters also attended: Nikola Todorovic, Jordi Requejo Coronado, Mohammed Touizi, and Ricardo Hilario.
The preliminary fights are scheduled to start at 4:30 PM with the main card beginning at 7:30 PM and continuing until 11:30 PM. Face-offs between preliminary and main card fighters have already taken place to build anticipation for tomorrow's matches.
