Jumeirah Appoints Thomas B. Meier As CEO To Propel Global Growth And Sustainability
Thomas B. Meier has been named the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jumeirah, a prominent player in the luxury hospitality industry and a division of Dubai Holding. Thomas brings a wealth of experience to the role, having significantly contributed to Jumeirah's achievements. He steps into this position with a clear vision for propelling the brand forward, focusing on its ambitious Mission 2030 strategy for sustainable development.
With a strategy to double its portfolio by 2030, Jumeirah, under Thomas's guidance, is poised for significant international growth. Thomas's journey with Jumeirah began in October 2021 when he took on the role of Chief Operating Officer and later served as Interim Chief Executive Officer. He has played a crucial role in pivotal moments for the brand, such as Jumeirah's expansion into Africa with the introduction of Jumeirah Thanda Island in Tanzania and Jumeirah Thanda Safari in South Africa.
