Arab Foreign Ministers Issue Joint Statement On Recent Developments In Syria's Stability And Security
Foreign Ministers from the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Egypt recently engaged in discussions about Syria's current situation. These talks aimed to support Syria's government in rebuilding the nation while ensuring its security and sovereignty. The ministers emphasised a unified stance to uphold Syria's stability and protect its citizens' rights.
The ministers expressed their strong disapproval of foreign interference in Syria's internal matters. They highlighted their commitment to Syria's unity and sovereignty. Additionally, they welcomed the agreement to resolve the crisis in Suwayda Governorate and stressed the importance of fully implementing this agreement to maintain peace and uphold the rule of law.

The joint statement called on the international community to aid Syria in its reconstruction efforts. The ministers urged the United Nations Security Council to ensure Israel withdraws from occupied Syrian territories. They also demanded an end to Israeli aggression and interference in Syria’s affairs, referencing Resolution 2766 and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
The ministers condemned repeated Israeli attacks on Syria as violations of international law. They stated these actions threaten Syria’s stability and territorial integrity. Such attacks hinder efforts by the Syrian government to rebuild a nation that aligns with its people's aspirations.

The ministers welcomed President Ahmad Al-Sharaa’s commitment to hold accountable those responsible for violations in Suwayda Governorate. They supported initiatives aimed at maintaining security and law across all Syrian regions while rejecting any form of violence or hate speech.
