Jewels Of Emirates Show 2024 Achieves Highest Turnout With Global Brands
Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs, and Free Zones Authority, inaugurated the 5th edition of the "Jewels of Emirates" Show today. Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the event showcases a collection of rare and exquisite jewellery pieces, including diamond, gold, and silver sets, gemstones, pearls, and luxury watches.
This edition features over 500 renowned local and international brands and more than 144 exhibitors, marking a 40% increase from the previous edition. The event runs for four days until 2nd June. Notable attendees included Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS), along with several board members from SCCI and ECS.

Other notable attendees were Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah; Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority (SAIF); and Jamal Saeed Bouzanjal, Director of Corporate Communication Department at SCCI. Members of the Arab Union for International Exhibitions and Conferences (AUIEC) and representatives of major companies also attended.
Following the inauguration, Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi toured the exhibition with other attendees. They explored the latest jewellery collections and contemporary designs displayed by both local and international companies. Visitors interacted with several Emirati designers who provided insights into their showcased gold works and unique designs.
The event focuses on exclusive pieces adorned with gold, diamonds, pearls, silver, and precious stones. It also offers visitors the chance to win valuable prizes. Both the UAE and Italian pavilions have sustained a strong presence at the Jewels of Emirates Show. Participants hail from various countries including Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Singapore, Thailand, Russia, Türkiye, China, Pakistan, India, and Italy.
Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi affirmed that the success of the Jewels of Emirates Show reflects the flourishing exhibition sector in Sharjah. He praised Expo Centre Sharjah for organising the event and noted that it serves as a model in boosting the UAE’s gold and jewellery industry. The event supports young Emirati entrepreneurs by giving them a platform to exhibit their artistic creations.
Abdullah Sultan Al Owais highlighted the importance of the event in solidifying Sharjah's status as a regional and global hub for the gold and jewellery industry. The exhibition draws prominent local and international companies and brands. It organises specialised events that foster networking and expertise exchange among participants.
The Jewels of Emirates Show serves as a strategic platform bringing together top-tier jewellery designers, manufacturers, traders, experts, and consumers. It plays a significant role in boosting gold and jewellery sales, facilitating business deals, stimulating trade and investment in the sector while supporting UAE’s talented designers.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa highlighted ECS’s commitment to ensuring the success of the event by providing advanced services that guarantee an optimal experience for both exhibitors and visitors. He stressed that Expo Sharjah believes in diversifying specialised exhibitions to create an ideal environment for traders and investors.
The event offers free admission to all visitors on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 13:00 to 22:00, and on Friday from 15:00 to 22:00.
