Intersec Saudi Arabia 2024 Anticipates Largest Edition With Over 17,000 Visitors

Intersec Saudi Arabia, the country's premier trade fair for safety, security, and fire protection, is set to return for its sixth edition from 1 - 3 October at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC). The event is organised by 1st Arabia, licensed by Messe Frankfurt, and held in association with the Ministry of Interior and Saudi Civil Defense.

The exhibition attracts thousands of professionals from around the GCC each year to learn about and procure products and services in this rapidly growing industry.

Record-breaking attendance expected

The 2023 edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia saw a record-breaking 15,336 visitors, with 17,000 expected for the upcoming event. The exhibition space has been expanded by 34% from last year, covering a total area of 23,000 sqm across five halls and one outdoor showcase. Bilal Al Barmawi, CEO and Founder of 1st Arabia Trade Shows & Conferences, stated that the event is specifically tailored to the needs of the Kingdom and is considered the largest and most important exhibition for security, safety, and fire protection industries in Saudi Arabia.

Exhibitors from around the world

Over 350 exhibitors from 27 countries are expected to participate in Intersec Saudi Arabia. Country pavilions will be featured for China, the Czech Republic, France, and the UK. Saudi-based exhibitors account for 29% of participating companies across five product sectors: Commercial & Perimeter Security, Cybersecurity, Public Safety & Security, Fire and Rescue, and Safety and Health.

Summits addressing industry needs

The annual conference programme includes the Future Security and Safety Summit as well as the Fire Protection and Technology Summit. Both summits are designed to address specific needs of the Saudi market. Riham Sedik, Show Manager—Intersec Saudi Arabia at Messe Frankfurt Middle East said that these summits will unite industry pioneers to discuss current and emerging security threats while also bringing together leading fire and emergency service professionals to discuss challenges, opportunities, and advancements in fire safety technology.

Key themes for the Future Security and Safety Summit include 'Moving Beyond Security – How to React to AI's Transformative Potential' and 'Boosting International Security Co-operation'. The Fire Protection and Technology Summit will explore topics such as 'Robotics and Automation for Fire Suppression' and 'Fire Challenges due to Climate Change'.

Premium Club returns

The Premium Club will once again be featured at Intersec Saudi Arabia. This programme offers networking opportunities for professionals in safety, security, and fire protection. It encourages key buyers to connect with exhibitors away from the show floor for a seamless purchasing process.

Intersec Saudi Arabia will take place across Halls 1-5 at RICEC. Halls 1-4 will focus on various aspects of security while Hall 5 will feature Intersec Plus exhibitors along with an outdoor exhibition space.
