International Defence Conference 2025 Commences Tomorrow In Abu Dhabi With Global Leaders

The International Defence Conference 2025, under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is set to begin at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. This event coincides with the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX). It aims to gather global leaders, experts, and companies in defence and security to discuss challenges and opportunities.

Organised by ADNEC Group alongside the Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council, this year's conference theme is "Defence Reimagined: Innovation, Integration and Resilience." Over 1,800 experts are expected to attend. The conference will feature three main sessions addressing critical issues such as supply chain threats, information weaponisation in conflicts, and space-related challenges.

The conference has a history of fostering international cooperation in defence. It serves as a platform for dialogue on security matters. A total of 12 distinguished speakers will contribute to the discussions. These include leaders, ministers, and senior defence officials worldwide. The sessions will cover topics like "Global Disruptions and Defence Preparedness," "Disinformation and Influence Operations," and "Emerging Threats in Space."

The conference aims to enhance global collaboration by hosting high-profile international participants from defence, economy, and technology sectors. It will conclude with strategic recommendations that will shape future defence programmes.
