International Charity Organisation Initiates AED 8 Million Integrated City Project In Mauritania

The International Charity Organisation has initiated the construction of a comprehensive residential city in Mauritania. This project, valued at AED8 million, aims to provide housing and essential services to underprivileged families, including the poor and orphans. The development will feature 100 fully equipped homes, a mosque for 100 worshippers, a school, a health centre with advanced medical facilities, an artesian well for clean water access, charitable endowment shops, and a modern water distribution network.

Dr. Khaled Al-Khaja, Secretary-General of the International Charity Organisation, stated that this initiative reflects their commitment to sustainable development and improving life quality in targeted communities. He explained that Mauritania was chosen based on detailed field studies highlighting an urgent need for such developmental efforts. "This project aligns with the Organisation’s vision and humanitarian mission, embodying the values of generosity and solidarity established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. It is a continuation of the UAE’s wise leadership in supporting humanitarian and charitable work globally," Al-Khaja stated.

Charity Launches Integrated City Project in Mauritania

On Zayed Humanitarian Day, the Organisation launched several charitable initiatives within the UAE. These included well donations and water provisions for hospital patients. Additionally, food parcels and Iftar meals were distributed to orphaned and needy families. These efforts are part of their ongoing commitment to support those in need both locally and internationally.

Al-Khaja expressed his gratitude towards benefactors whose trust and generosity enable the International Charity Organisation to extend support globally. Their contributions are vital in allowing the Organisation to reach out to those in need worldwide.

The project is designed to improve living conditions by providing essential services tailored to beneficiary families' needs. The inclusion of an artesian well ensures sustainable access to clean water. Meanwhile, a modern water distribution network enhances efficiency in resource management within the community.

This initiative not only provides immediate relief but also aims at long-term benefits by establishing infrastructure that supports education and healthcare. The school offers a comprehensive educational environment while the health centre is equipped with advanced medical facilities.

The Organisation's efforts reflect its dedication to fostering sustainable development across various regions. By selecting Mauritania based on thorough research, they ensure that resources are directed where they are most needed.
