Over 17,000 Beneficiaries Receive AED 25 Million Aid From Charity In UAE
The International Charity Organisation has announced that it provided AED 25,600,000 in financial support during the first half of 2024. This aid reached over 17,000 beneficiaries within the UAE, including 1,100 citizens who received various forms of assistance worth more than AED 6 million.
Additionally, the organisation extended financial support amounting to AED 1,964,000 to 22 local and charitable institutions. This initiative aims to enhance cooperation and social solidarity within the community.

The assistance provided included a range of charitable projects and initiatives. These encompassed paying tuition fees, rent, home maintenance, electricity bills, and providing furniture and electrical appliances. Other forms of aid included residency renewal fees, tickets for needy families and debtors, university fees, medicines and surgeries, debt repayment, among other types of support.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Charity Organisation, expressed gratitude towards those who contributed generously. He stated, "We extend our thanks and gratitude to the kind-hearted people who generously contributed to supporting our charitable projects. With their continuous support, we were able to reach this large number of beneficiaries in just 6 months. This reflects the bright image of the people of the Emirates and its residents and shows the culture of goodness and giving that was established by the leadership of the Emirates and made it a methodology and a way of life."
For over four decades, the International Charity Organisation has been a significant player in humanitarian work in the UAE. It has expanded its reach through numerous projects and campaigns aimed at helping those most in need. The organisation's efforts have now extended to more than 20 countries and regions worldwide.
Global Outreach
The organisation has implemented thousands of projects under the UAE's banner. These include building mosques, digging wells, constructing Quran memorisation centres, health centres, among others.
Sheikh Mohammed Al Nuaimi also urged generous individuals to support ongoing campaigns such as the summer campaign and back-to-school campaign. He emphasised that campaign teams are actively following up on all charitable projects both inside and outside the UAE.
These projects include distributing air conditioners and refrigerators to needy families. Such initiatives aim to alleviate suffering during challenging times.
