Integrated Transport Centre Reveals Operating Hours For Hijri New Year Holiday In Abu Dhabi

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, has outlined its service schedules for the Hijri New Year (1447) holiday on Friday, 27th June 2025. Customer Happiness Centres in Abu Dhabi will be closed during this period, reopening on Monday, 30th June 2025. However, services remain accessible through digital platforms like the official website, "Darbi" app, "TAMM" platform, and support centres.

Public bus services in Abu Dhabi will follow the weekend and public holiday schedule during the holiday. Additional trips are planned for regional and intercity routes to accommodate increased demand. The Abu Dhabi Link service will maintain its usual hours from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Express bus service will operate from 6:00 AM until midnight.

ITC Announces Holiday Schedule for Abu Dhabi

Driver and vehicle licensing services will be available at various centres with specific operating hours during the holiday. Light Vehicle Inspection Stations at Al Salama Building in Abu Dhabi will operate around the clock throughout the week. In Al Ain, stations at Falaj Hazza and Al Bateen will open from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday.

For heavy vehicles, inspection stations under Aman in Mussafah (Abu Dhabi) will function from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Friday. In Al Ain's Mazyad area and Madinat Zayed in Al Dhafra, similar hours apply for inspections. These arrangements ensure that essential services remain accessible even during holidays.

Taresh offices located at Al Salama Building in Abu Dhabi will be open from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday. Other locations such as Motor World – Al Shamkha and Rahayel City follow similar timings. Insurance offices at Al Salama Building in Abu Dhabi operate between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM on Friday.

In Madinat Zayed – Al Dhafra and Motor World – Al Shamkha, insurance services are available from noon until 8:00 PM. The Factory Industrial Area in Al Ain also provides these services during specified hours. This ensures that residents can access necessary facilities without disruption.

The ITC encourages customers to utilise digital platforms for uninterrupted access to services during the holiday period. By offering a combination of online resources and adjusted physical service hours, they aim to meet public needs efficiently while observing holiday schedules.
