Indian Businesses Dominate New Company Registrations At Dubai Chamber In First Half Of 2025

During the first half of 2025, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, part of Dubai Chambers, reported a significant influx of Indian-owned businesses. A total of 9,038 new Indian companies joined, marking a 14.9% increase compared to the previous year. This trend highlights India's leading position among non-UAE companies joining the chamber.

Pakistan secured the second spot with 4,281 new companies registering in the first half of 2025. This represented an 8.1% rise from the same period in 2024. Egypt followed closely with 2,540 new Egyptian businesses joining, reflecting an 8.3% growth rate.

Indian Businesses Lead Dubai Chamber Registrations

Bangladeshi enterprises experienced the highest growth rate among all countries listed. The number of Bangladeshi companies joining surged by 37.5%, reaching a total of 1,541 new members in this period. This placed Bangladesh fourth on the list.

The Wholesale and Retail Trade sector shared the top spot with Real Estate, Renting, and Business Services among new members. Each sector accounted for 35% of new business activities. The Construction sector followed with a share of 17.3%.

The Transport, Storage and Communications sector and Social and Personal Services sector each contributed to 7.6% of the total new memberships during this time frame.

Additional Country Rankings

The United Kingdom ranked fifth with 1,385 new companies joining, showing an 11.1% year-over-year growth. Syria was sixth with 945 new businesses registered in H1 2025.

China came in seventh place with 772 new companies and a modest growth rate of 3.8%. Jordan followed in eighth place with 688 new businesses and a growth rate of 2.4%.

Türkiye was ninth on the list with 642 new companies registering, reflecting a growth rate of 3.9%. Canada completed the top ten list with 535 new member companies during this period.

This data underscores Dubai's appeal as a business hub for international companies across various sectors and countries.
