Indian Businesses Top List Of New Companies Joining Dubai Chamber In Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Indian-owned businesses led the way in joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of three chambers under Dubai Chambers. A total of 4,543 Indian companies became members, marking a 4.4% year-over-year increase. This highlights the significant economic contribution of Indian enterprises as Dubai's largest foreign business community.

Following India, Pakistan registered 2,154 new companies with the chamber during this period. Egypt came third with 1,362 new member companies. Bangladesh saw a notable year-over-year growth of 28.5%, adding 817 new companies to the chamber's membership.

The United Kingdom ranked fifth with 678 new companies joining. Syria followed closely in sixth place with 462 new members. Jordan secured the seventh spot by registering 350 new companies with the chamber.

The wholesale and retail trade sector dominated new registrations, accounting for 36.2% of all new member companies in Q1 2025. The real estate, renting, and business services sector was next at 35.4%. The construction sector followed in third place with a share of 16.7%.

China ranked eighth on the list with 347 new Chinese companies joining as members. Türkiye and Iraq completed the top ten list with 329 and 303 new member companies respectively.

The social and personal services sector accounted for 7.7% of new registrations, ranking fourth among sectors. Meanwhile, the transport, storage, and communications sector captured fifth place with a share of 7.5%.

This analysis by Dubai Chamber of Commerce underscores the diverse international business presence in Dubai and highlights key sectors driving growth within its economy.
