Indian Businesses Lead The Way With 16,623 New Registrations At Dubai Chamber In 2024

India led in new foreign companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in 2024, with 16,623 new members. Pakistan followed with 8,179 companies, and Egypt was third with 5,302 new members. This trend highlights Dubai's growing appeal as a global investment hub and the increasing diversity of investors.

Iraq, Türkiye, and the United Kingdom showed the highest growth rates among the top 10 nationalities joining the chamber in 2024. Iraqi companies increased by 37.8%, reaching 1,718 from 1,247 in 2023. Turkish companies grew by 25.5%, with 1,314 new registrations compared to 1,047 in the previous year.

The United Kingdom saw a rise of 14.2% in new company registrations, totalling 2,588 in 2024 compared to 2,267 in 2023. Syria ranked fourth overall with 2,764 new members. The UK was fifth on this list, followed by Bangladesh with 2,369 new companies.

The trading and services sector dominated new memberships at the chamber in 2024, accounting for 41.1% of all registrations. Real estate, renting, and business services followed closely at 32.9%. The construction sector contributed to 10.5% of new memberships.

Transport, storage, and communication sectors accounted for an additional 8.4% of total new company registrations during this period. These figures demonstrate the diverse economic activities attracting businesses to Dubai.

Iraq ranked seventh overall with its significant increase in company registrations. Jordan added 1,474 new companies to the chamber's membership list in eighth place. China followed closely behind with a total of 1,473 new businesses joining.

Completing the top ten was Türkiye with its notable growth rate and a total of 1,314 new companies registered in Dubai Chamber of Commerce for the year.
