The event will feature over 150 speakers and attract more than 8,000 participants, including policymakers, business leaders, international investors, and entrepreneurs.

Abu Dhabi Business Week: Driving Economic Growth

The theme for this year's event is ‘Deliver Value. Create Impact’. It highlights Abu Dhabi's commitment to creating a business-friendly environment that supports sustainable economic development. Participants will explore new markets and gain insights into trends shaping the future of Abu Dhabi as a rapidly growing economic hub.

Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADCCI, stated: "Abu Dhabi’s Falcon Economy is solidifying our position as a rising economic powerhouse. Abu Dhabi Business Week will serve as a platform for businesses to connect and collaborate, driving the next phase of growth and diversification within our dynamic economy."

The first edition of ADBW will host ten specialised events. These include the Abu Dhabi Business Forum, which will address global investment dynamics in Abu Dhabi, business clusters, regulations, and public-private partnerships. Other events like the Procurement Forum and Innovation Xchange will delve into topics such as innovation and procurement.

Al Zaabi further noted: "Supported by our multidimensional sustainable development strategies... These strategies are supercharging the non-oil sectors, which now account for over 55 per cent of Abu Dhabi’s GDP following a growth of 6.6 per cent in Q2 2024."

Opportunities for Engagement

Attendees can engage in panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions showcasing innovations and services. The event provides a platform for exploring investment opportunities while addressing pressing challenges faced by business leaders today.

Abu Dhabi has been recognised as the World’s Richest City with US$1.7 trillion in sovereign wealth fund assets. It also holds the strongest sovereign credit rating in the GCC region, offering investors exceptional access to finance and growth prospects.

The Emirate's supportive economic landscape is evident from a remarkable 196% increase in economic licences issued over the past decade. This underscores its ease of doing business ranking first in MENA.

The event reflects Abu Dhabi's dedication to empowering businesses through smart diversification strategies aimed at transitioning towards a sustainable economy.
