Hyatt Acquires 'Me And All' Hotels To Boost European And Global Expansion

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the acquisition of the me and all hotels brand from Lindner Hotels AG. This move follows a successful strategic collaboration between Hyatt and Lindner in 2022, which significantly expanded Hyatt's presence in Germany and Europe. The me and all brand, currently part of Hyatt's JdV by Hyatt brand, will become a standalone brand within Hyatt's global lifestyle portfolio.

Since its launch in 2016 as Lindner Hotels & Resorts' urban lifestyle sister brand, me and all hotels has grown to six hotels with over 1,000 rooms in central city locations across Germany. The brand has a healthy pipeline of conversions and new builds planned for key destinations such as Berlin (set to open in 2024), Hamburg, Leipzig, and Stuttgart (all expected to open in 2026). Additionally, Hyatt's pipeline includes 1,000 me and all hotel rooms with development deals for destinations outside Germany under negotiation.

She believes the brand has great potential for expansion across Europe and other global markets. The collaboration with Lindner has been a significant step forward for Hyatt's distribution in the EAME region, expanding their brand footprint and offering many new locations to their 46 million World of Hyatt members.

He is confident that the successful work they have done to launch and position the brand in Germany, its vibrant pipeline, and the potential for growth as part of Hyatt will soon make it a beloved lifestyle brand on the global stage.

me and all hotels combine central locations with urban design, cutting-edge technology, and vibrant public spaces. They appeal to city travellers, business travellers, and urban locals by enabling social interaction and productive co-working sessions. Local heroes from gastronomy, music, art, and start-ups provide constantly new experiences through pop-up kitchens, various events, and sustainable products. The transaction was closed on June 28th, 2024.
