HSBC Launches First Centre Of Excellence In Al Ain To Boost Employment For UAE Nationals

HSBC has revealed plans to open a Centre of Excellence in Al Ain. This initiative, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), supports the UAE and Abu Dhabi's vision to enhance local talent and boost employment for UAE nationals in finance. The centre aims to be operational by the end of 2025.

The new facility will focus on key operations such as collections, client services, and customer experience. It will also provide training and skill development for UAE nationals in Al Ain. This centre is designed to equip Emiratis with essential skills for success in the financial sector while maintaining high service standards for clients.

HSBC Opens Centre of Excellence in Al Ain

HSBC is working with the UAE Central Bank and Nafis, the Emirati Competitiveness Council, on initiatives to increase private sector employment for UAE nationals. Moustafa Raouf, Country Head of HR at HSBC Bank Middle East, highlighted the strategic importance of the UAE for HSBC globally.

"The UAE holds significant strategic importance for HSBC globally, and we have aligned our strategy with the country’s ambitious economic transformation plans to unlock growth," said Raouf. "Our new Centre of Excellence in Al Ain is not just an investment in infrastructure but an investment in people, and our future generation."

Mouza Obaid Al Nasri, Executive Director of the SMEs Sector at ADDED, expressed satisfaction with partnering with HSBC. She noted that this collaboration aims to provide quality job opportunities for UAE nationals and appreciates HSBC's role in nurturing talent development in Al Ain.
