New HPE Program With NVIDIA Aims To Enhance Partner Profitability And AI Expertise

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has introduced a new enablement program in partnership with NVIDIA. This initiative aims to enhance profitability and create new revenue streams for partners. The program includes new competencies and resources across AI, compute, storage, networking, hybrid cloud, and sustainability, along with improved HPE GreenLake offerings.

HPE's collaboration with NVIDIA is part of the newly announced NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio. This strategy focuses on driving innovation and leveraging HPE's edge-to-cloud portfolio. It includes AI workshops and competency programs to enhance partners' AI skills through specialized training and certifications.

HPE NVIDIA Boost Partner AI Cloud Gains

The AI acceleration workshops help partners on their AI journey by providing readiness assessments, tools for building tailored strategies, success measurements, and roadmaps for developing AI service practices. These workshops are designed to support partners in creating comprehensive AI solutions.

Additionally, the AI skills development workshops offer self-paced content and certifications available on HPE Tech Pro. This platform features training developed by NVIDIA and leverages the latest NVIDIA certificate programs. These resources aim to advance partners' abilities to sell and architect full-stack AI solutions from HPE and NVIDIA's portfolios.

The HPE Compute competency enables partners to develop expertise in recommending optimal inferencing solutions using NVIDIA-Certified HPE ProLiant GenAI servers. This ensures that partners can support customers' inference performance requirements while considering cost-effectiveness.

The High Performance Computing (HPC) in the Enterprise competency allows partners to support advanced enterprise customers developing their own GenAI models. This includes expertise in deep learning, autonomous driving, financial modeling, and integrating the HPE Cray portfolio as part of broader AI strategies.

The updated HPE Storage and Data Services competency now supports HPE GreenLake for File Storage, certified for NVIDIA DGX BasePOD and validated for NVIDIA OVX. This provides a proven enterprise file storage solution for accelerating AI workloads at scale.

"With these advancements, we continue to invest in enabling our ecosystem of partners to expand into new profitable revenue streams," said Simon Ewington, Vice President of Worldwide Channel & Partner Ecosystem at HPE. "Our expanded collaboration with NVIDIA will help partners guide their customers in accelerating the development of new AI technologies."

A study commissioned by HPE with Canalys revealed that for every $1 invested in HPE solutions, customers would spend up to $4.90 on products and services with partners. This demonstrates the potential incremental revenue opportunities available through the program.

"The study validates our program's foundation," said Jesse Chavez, Vice President Worldwide Partner Programs and Operations at HPE. "We recognize the partner's expertise and ability to extend value via our innovation."

The HPE Aruba Networking Security Service Edge (SSE) competency equips partners with skills to integrate applications like Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) into an SSE solution for secure access via a single cloud-delivered platform.

The Sustainability competency helps partners develop IT sustainability practices that meet business requirements while minimizing carbon emissions across data centers, compute, networking, storage, and hybrid cloud technology.

HPE GreenLake cloud now offers enhanced integrations providing end-to-end manageability across hybrid environments. New offerings include standardized Rapid instances of GreenLake for easier configuration and quoting of virtualization packages.

GreenLake Flex Solutions now feature native OpsRamp hybrid observability and Sustainability Insight Center. These enhancements provide tools for managing hybrid cloud installations confidently.

"Since launching GreenLake five years ago, accelerating profitable growth has been a major focus," said Ewington. "With the impact of AI on hybrid cloud, we are doubling down on innovation within our products."
