House Of Wisdom Introduces Three Engaging Summer Camps This July And August

House of Wisdom (HoW) in Sharjah is set to launch a new edition of its annual summer camp this July and August. The initiative aims to transform the summer season into one filled with learning, inspiration, and joy. Following last year's successful turnout, this year's programme promises three engaging camp experiences that integrate technology, arts, and creative thinking.

Each camp is designed for specific age groups, offering a variety of activities. These include interactive storytelling, hands-on experiments, arts and crafts, and educational games. The aim is to create memorable experiences where learning and play are intertwined seamlessly.

Marwa Al Aqroubi, Executive Director of HoW, expressed her excitement about this annual tradition. She highlighted its importance in HoW’s cultural and educational mission. "Our Arab heritage is a treasure trove of timeless stories and cultural symbols that continue to inspire and influence generation after generation," she stated.

Al Aqroubi further explained the significance of bringing these narratives to life using modern methods and technology. This approach allows children today to connect with their roots in ways that are fresh, relevant, and accessible.

The camps aim to counteract the isolating effects of screens by fostering real-world connections among children. Al Aqroubi noted the importance of creating spaces that nurture essential skills such as collaboration and initiative.

She emphasised the goal of building a generation capable of balancing knowledge with joy while integrating heritage with innovation. "At a time when screens increasingly isolate our children, we are committed to creating spaces that reintroduce the wonder of real-world connection," she said.

This year’s summer camp at HoW promises to be an enriching experience for children. By blending education with fun activities, it seeks to inspire curiosity and exploration in young minds while honouring cultural heritage.
