Higher Colleges Of Technology And Saal.ai Collaborate To Cultivate Next Generation Of AI Talent In UAE

The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in the UAE has partnered with Saal.ai, a cognitive technology firm under the Abu Dhabi Capital Group. This collaboration aims to prepare Emirati students with skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and big data. The partnership was formalised at an HCT campus event, highlighting both institutions' dedication to developing local talent and supporting the UAE's shift towards a knowledge-based economy.

Central to this partnership is the integration of DigiXT, an AI and big data platform developed by Saal.ai, into HCT's academic offerings. This will provide students with practical learning experiences in AI and data analytics. Students will gain hands-on expertise that improves their employability, while industry partners benefit from graduates skilled in advanced technologies.

This initiative aligns with HCT’s 2023–2028 strategic vision, which focuses on applied learning and industry engagement. It aims to develop graduates ready for future challenges. The collaboration also strengthens HCT’s role in providing impactful academic experiences that equip Emirati students for a changing global workforce.

The partnership supports the UAE’s national educational agenda and the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031. This strategy seeks to position the country as a global leader in AI by integrating it across various sectors like education, space, technology, energy, and transportation.
