HFZA to Showcase Competitive Advantages, Investment Opportunities at Gulfood 2024
The Hamriyah Freezone Authority (HFZA) has officially announced its participation in the 29th edition of Gulfood 2024, set to be the largest event in its history. Scheduled from 19th to 23rd February at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), this premier global food and beverages fair will host over 5,500 exhibitors, including an elite cadre of policymakers and leading companies from around the world. HFZA aims to leverage this platform through a dedicated pavilion to showcase its array of benefits, services, and facilities tailored for investors in the food and beverage industry.
HFZA's engagement in Gulfood 2024 underscores its commitment to enhancing food trade within the UAE and supporting the National Food Security Strategy 2051. The Authority plans to highlight its pivotal role in providing access to lucrative opportunities in local and regional markets for companies and global brands within the food sector. A key focus will be on promoting its flagship initiative, the Food Park.

The Food Park, sprawling over 11 million square feet and hosting more than 1,700 food companies, is designed to offer comprehensive support to investors. It features not only land, warehouses, offices, and facilities but also boasts streamlined import and export processes globally. Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, emphasized that HFZA's consistent participation in Gulfood aims at drawing specialized and high-quality investments to the sector.
Recognized as a prime destination for food and beverage companies worldwide, HFZA stands out for its array of services that adhere to international best practices. Al Mazrouei further highlighted that the Food Park is home to over 1,700 local and international companies within the food and beverage sector. Moreover, its operational system is noted for its efficiency, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, making it suitable for companies of various sizes.
