The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) is taking part in the 20th SteelFab exhibition. This event is organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with backing from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). Running from 13th to 16th January, the exhibition showcases over 600 global brands and 350 exhibitors from 33 countries, spotlighting leaders in the metalworking sector.
HFZA's involvement aims to highlight the benefits of establishing businesses in its Industrial Manufacturing Park. This park hosts the largest number of steel manufacturers and fabricators in the Middle East and North Africa. It accommodates over 200 companies specialising in welding and mining services, acting as a hub for their worldwide operations.

The free zone offers numerous competitive advantages, including strategic access to Hamriyah Port. It provides comprehensive logistics solutions, storage facilities, and cargo handling services. These features make it an attractive destination for investors looking to expand their operations in the region.
Saudi Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HFZA and SAIF Zone, emphasised SteelFab's significance as a global gathering for top steel fabrication companies. "SteelFab is a premier global gathering for steel fabrication top-notch companies," he stated. HFZA participates annually to attract more investments into the iron and steel sector by engaging with major global players.
The zone aims to promote its competitive advantages for steel companies. These include a strategic geographic location, advanced infrastructure, modern facilities, and warehouses. Such offerings are designed to enhance production efficiency and boost export capabilities within the sector.
At SteelFab 2025, HFZA uses its pavilion to showcase its pivotal role in supporting both global and regional iron and steel trade. The zone is recognised as a key hub for these industries in the Middle East and Africa. It serves as a preferred destination for specialised heavy industries.
