Heart Of RAK Launches To Showcase Ras Al Khaimah’s Lifestyle And Business Opportunities

Sheikh Saqr bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of RAK Ceramics, recently attended the launch of Heart of RAK. This online platform aims to highlight the livability aspects of Ras Al Khaimah. The event took place at the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa and was attended by various government officials from local and federal entities.

The Heart of RAK platform is designed to serve both residents and newcomers. It offers comprehensive information on Ras Al Khaimah's lifestyle, tourism, and business environment. From local communities and educational institutions to accommodation, shopping, dining, and entertainment options, the platform covers a wide range of topics.

Heba Fatani, Director General of RAKGMO, stated that the launch aligns with H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi's vision. The aim is to position Ras Al Khaimah as a top global destination for living, working, and exploring. "Heart of RAK embodies the Emirate’s commitment to fostering a strong sense of community," she said.

The platform also highlights Ras Al Khaimah's unique strengths and future opportunities. It targets both local and international audiences by showcasing the Emirate's thriving economy, exceptional natural environment, and vibrant community.

A panel discussion titled ‘Quality of Life in Focus’ was part of the launch event. Moderated by Rouba Zeidan from RAKGMO, it featured key figures like Eng. Abulla Al Abdouli from Marjan and Donald Bremner from RAK Hospitality. They discussed innovative projects reshaping urban life in Ras Al Khaimah.

Rouba Zeidan commented on Ras Al Khaimah’s growing reputation as a preferred destination. "We believe that one well-curated, up-to-date comprehensive platform is essential for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the Emirate," she noted.

Comprehensive Digital Infrastructure

The Heart of RAK complements Ras Al Khaimah’s strategic vision for digital infrastructure development. It joins other digital services across the Emirate, including 690 government e-services available on this portal.

The platform provides updates on government initiatives, new developments, family-friendly activities, event coverage, and guides to Ras Al Khaimah’s culture and history. It also features educational, healthcare, transport services, and tourist attractions to enhance visitor experiences.

Global Recognition

The world is recognising Ras Al Khaimah's rising status on global indices. In InterNations Expat City Ranking 2023 report surveying over 12,000 expats across 172 countries, it ranked fourth out of 49 destinations. This reflects the high quality of life enjoyed by its residents.

Heart of RAK aims to facilitate access to opportunities created by Ras Al Khaimah’s robust manufacturing and industrial sectors. The platform showcases its resilient economy while helping visitors explore unique experiences within the Emirate.
