Hazza Bin Zayed Engages With MoIAT And ADNOC Delegation On Al Ain Development Projects
H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region, recently met with a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) and ADNOC. The delegation was led by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC. The meeting focused on reviewing development projects aimed at boosting economic and social growth in Al Ain.
Sheikh Hazza was informed about initiatives to attract investments and industries to Al Ain. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to serve various community segments, with key projects planned for 2025 by MoIAT and ADNOC. The initiatives align with the directive of President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who has designated 2025 as the Year of Community under the theme Hand in Hand.
The leadership’s vision aims to enhance community wellbeing and prosperity through these initiatives. Sheikh Hazza stressed the importance of creating a supportive environment for growth and innovation. He highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen the business landscape, enhance national talent competitiveness, and align education with labour market demands.
Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber shared plans for launching a new edition of the Industrialists’ Career Exhibition at Majlis Al Juffair in Al Ain on 22nd and 23rd February. This exhibition will focus on qualifying Emiratis for careers in industrial sectors, offering over 500 job opportunities in fields like engineering, accounting, procurement, human resources, IT, auditing, and sales.
The Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology and ADNOC are committed to driving investment in energy and advanced industries. Their initiatives aim to generate job opportunities while enhancing Al Ain’s appeal to investors. These projects support entrepreneurship through innovative approaches that contribute to sustainable economic growth in the region.
Sheikh Hazza emphasised the significance of integrated projects that meet citizens’ aspirations and needs. He noted that these initiatives play a crucial role in fostering social welfare while reinforcing Al Ain’s position as a hub for energy, industry, and advanced technology.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hazza was accompanied by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Together they reviewed how these projects align with national goals for quality and sustainability standards.
