Hazza Bin Zayed Celebrates Graduation Of Cadet Pilots At Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College In Al Ain
The graduation ceremony for the 54th batch of cadet pilot officers and the 14th batch of female cadet pilot officers took place at Khalifa bin Zayed Air College in Al Ain. H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region, attended the event. He congratulated the graduates, wishing them success in serving the nation and protecting its interests.
H.H. Sheikh Hazza praised the college for its role in developing UAE national talents and military leaders who can adapt to modern challenges. The ceremony was graced by Mattar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Major General Pilot Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, senior officials, high-ranking officers from the UAE Armed Forces and Ministry of Defence, and families of the graduates.
The event began with the UAE national anthem followed by a Quranic recitation. Brigadier General Staff Saif Abdullah Al Mesafri, Commander of Khalifa bin Zayed Air College, welcomed H.H. Sheikh Hazza and other distinguished guests. He acknowledged the leadership's support that has transformed the college into a world-class institution with internationally accredited programmes meeting top academic and military standards.
The graduates participated in a military march before taking their Oath of Allegiance. They pledged loyalty to the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Their vow included defending national security and sovereignty across land, sea, and air while obeying superiors' orders faithfully.
In his address to graduates, Brigadier General Staff Saif Abdullah Al Mesafri stated: "Today, as you take the Oath of Allegiance, you embark on a significant phase of your career pathway. As defenders of our nation, you uphold honour and deep-rooted values of military service." He emphasised their role in safeguarding Union achievements under His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s leadership.
H.H. Sheikh Hazza honoured top-performing graduates with certificates for their academic and military excellence. He encouraged them to fulfill their duties with dedication as they join the UAE Armed Forces. The ceremony also featured a symbolic handover of college colours from the 54th batch to the 55th batch along with a pledge to honour it.
The parade commander then requested permission from H.H. Sheikh Hazza to march off-field. Graduates exited in coordinated formation reflecting pride in serving as protectors of their homeland.
