Hatta Festival Unveils 150 Creative Workshops For Families And Visitors This Winter

The 'Hatta Winter' initiative, part of the '#DubaiDestinations' campaign by Brand Dubai, offers a unique programme of 150 creative workshops at the Hatta festival. This year's event enhances its role as a community and artistic platform, providing innovative experiences amid Hatta's stunning natural scenery, making it an ideal spot for families and visitors of all ages.

Brand Dubai's commitment to nurturing creativity and practical skills is evident in the expanded number of workshops. This increase responds to their popularity in previous editions. The festival allows families and visitors to engage in a variety of artistic and cultural experiences within an inspiring, hands-on environment.

Hatta Festival Offers 150 Creative Workshops

Set against the picturesque Leem Lake waterfront, over 150 outdoor workshops will be held throughout the festival. Visitors can learn arts and crafts inspired by Hatta’s natural beauty from local experts. This area promises to be one of the most enriching spaces at the festival, offering interactive activities for both children and adults.

The workshops feature diverse artistic activities appealing to various interests, drawing inspiration from Hatta’s rich heritage. Participants can explore Punch Needle, Tote Bag Paint, Jewelry Making, Fabric Paint, Mosaic Jar creation, Shirt Designing, Diamond Painting, Pottery and Clay Modelling, Beginner Crochet, Canvas Paint, 3D Ice Cream Models, DIY Tote Bag crafting, Plant Accessories creation, Cups Coloring, Doormat Painting, Bear Making, and Clay Mirror crafting.

This year’s workshops result from collaborations between Brand Dubai and specialised local brands like The Sewing House. Artists such as Sheikha Al Badwawi, Badria Obaid Ali and Aicha Jawhar also contribute. These partnerships highlight Brand Dubai's dedication to supporting small enterprises by showcasing their work at major events in Dubai.

Amina Taher from the organising committee mentioned that these workshops are key attractions this year. They offer opportunities to foster creativity while connecting participants with nature through crafts inspired by the local environment. She noted that the festival promotes Hatta as a unique winter destination while encouraging sustainable practices using local materials.

The vibrant workshop area serves as a creative hub with a full schedule of interactive activities throughout the festival. Participants can explore new skills practically within an environment inspired by Hatta’s mountains and valleys.
