Hanover Communications Debuts Hanover Sport To Bolster Sports Communication Services

Hanover Communications, a strategic communications and public affairs consultancy renowned across the EMEA region, today unveiled its latest venture, Hanover Sport. This initiative marks a significant expansion of the agency's capabilities, integrating its profound expertise in sports-related brand storytelling, strategic and corporate communications, fan engagement, sponsorship activation, and public affairs into a comprehensive sports communications service.

Hanover Launches Sports Division

With a global footprint that includes offices in major cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, London, Dublin, and Brussels, Hanover Sport is poised to deliver a range of services from local activations to global campaigns, leveraging its international network of partner agencies.

At the helm of Hanover Sport is Rebecca Hargreaves, appointed as Director. With over 15 years of experience in sports branding, Hargreaves brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the agency. She will report to Gary Cleland, Hanover Group Managing Director.

Jonty Summers, Hanover Middle East Managing Director, has maintained a longstanding relationship with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. Ceri Reed, Group Head of Brand, has led global campaigns for Nike and Puma, and Ilija Trojanovic, Account Director with Hanover Middle East, brings experience from the 2022 FIFA World Cup organizing committee PR team.

Mohammed Al Maskati, Hanover Saudi Operations Managing Director, highlighted the growth potential in the GCC sports sector, emphasizing the role of sports in economic diversification and social change, as seen in Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiatives. Recent high-profile international events hosted by the country, including the F1 Grand Prix and LIV Golf Jeddah, underscore the region's emerging sports industry.
