Hamdan Foundation Initiates Judging Process For Innovators 2025 Competition To Promote Youth Innovation

The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has started evaluating entries for the 8th "Innovators 2025" competition. This initiative aims to inspire young people to turn their innovative ideas into practical projects that benefit society and promote sustainability. A panel of experts is overseeing the judging process, which has attracted significant interest this year.

This year's competition saw a remarkable increase in participation, with 160 teams registering initially. Out of these, 80 teams met the criteria to proceed, marking a 70% rise compared to the previous edition. Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Foundation, highlighted the competition's role as a national platform for nurturing young talent and creativity.

Judging Begins for Innovators 2025 Competition

"The Innovators competition has become a well-established national platform for discovering talent and refining the creative abilities of young people," stated Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi. He emphasised that the growing number of participants each year reflects the community's trust in the Foundation's mission. The Foundation is dedicated to supporting young innovators to contribute actively to building a knowledge-based economy.

The evaluation process involves multiple stages where projects are assessed based on creativity, feasibility, and societal impact. The judging phase will conclude with an announcement of finalists who will compete in an awards ceremony early next year. This event will also include an exhibition showcasing exceptional projects.

Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi further noted that the competition represents a complete journey from idea conception to project development. The Foundation remains committed to empowering young innovators, reinforcing the UAE's status as a global innovation hub.

The upcoming awards ceremony promises not only recognition but also an opportunity for participants to display their work publicly. This aligns with the Foundation's goal of fostering innovation and supporting sustainable development through practical applications of creative ideas.
