A key decision discussed was the increase in permissible economic activities on farms to 145. This change aims to optimise the use of agricultural land and boost its contribution to Abu Dhabi's gross domestic product. Such measures are expected to enhance the economic viability of farms while supporting broader agricultural goals.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's support is crucial for developing the national food security system and preserving the UAE’s natural resources. He noted that Al Dhafra Region is particularly significant due to its unique agricultural and environmental potential.

Sheikh Hamdan called for ongoing fieldwork and innovative management of agricultural resources to achieve balanced development across all emirate areas. He praised ADAFSA's efforts in implementing projects aligned with the leadership’s vision for a sustainable agricultural future.

The meeting was attended by several Sheikhs and officials, reflecting the high level of commitment to these initiatives. The collaborative approach aims to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned in their efforts to advance food security and sustainable agriculture in the region.

This engagement highlights the importance of continuous innovation and strategic planning in managing agricultural resources effectively. By focusing on sustainability and economic viability, these efforts aim to secure a prosperous future for agriculture in Abu Dhabi.
