Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation Organises 3rd International Conference On Gifted Education And AI Integration

The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences is set to host the 3rd World Giftedness Center International Conference. This virtual event will occur from 20th to 23rd October 2025. The conference, themed "Educating the Gifted in the Era of Prosperous Artificial Intelligence," will feature a range of international experts and speakers.

Humaid Mohammed Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, highlighted that this conference underscores the Foundation's dedication to advancing scientific research and formulating educational policies grounded in evidence. He stated, "Gifted education today is becoming increasingly intertwined with technological advancement, which calls on the educational community to harness modern technologies and artificial intelligence to expand the horizons of creativity and innovation among students."

This year's conference will explore several critical themes. These include how artificial intelligence and digital transformation impact gifted education, creating smarter learning environments, and innovating curriculum design. It will also cover assessment methods, talent identification, and promoting students' mental health and socio-emotional well-being.

Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Foundation, explained that this biennial event aims to showcase recent advancements in gifted education amid rapid changes in AI and digital technologies. He noted these developments bring both challenges and new opportunities for enhancing gifted education and preparing students with future-ready skills.

The conference will gather participants from 63 countries along with experts, researchers, and practitioners from 10 nations. They aim to present cutting-edge research, discuss integrating AI into innovative curricula, and develop teaching tools suited for a new generation of gifted learners.

Al Qatami added that through this conference, the Foundation seeks to reinforce the UAE’s position as an international knowledge hub for exchanging expertise in gifted education while contributing to building a generation capable of leading the future with an innovative and responsible mindset.
