Hamdan Bin Mohammed Begins Official Visit To Kuwait To Strengthen Bilateral Relations
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has begun an official visit to Kuwait. Upon his arrival, he was greeted by Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Minister of Interior, along with other leaders and senior officials.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasised the strong and growing ties between the UAE and Kuwait. He noted that these relations will continue to strengthen under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait. The UAE is keen on expanding cooperation with Kuwait, building on their historical connections and shared goals for progress.
The Crown Prince is accompanied by a high-level delegation including several ministers. Among them are Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and The Future; Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; and Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State.
The delegation also includes Lieutenant General Talal Humaid Belhoul from Dubai's State Security Department; Abdul Aziz Abdulla Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chambers; Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr from the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation; Major General Dr. Mubarak bin Ghafan Al Jabri from the Ministry of Defence; and Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to Kuwait.
During his visit to Kuwait, Sheikh Hamdan plans to meet with various leaders and senior officials. These discussions aim to explore ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations. The meetings will also focus on identifying new opportunities to strengthen strategic partnerships that support comprehensive development goals.
The UAE's commitment to fostering collaboration with Kuwait is rooted in their deep historical ties and shared aspirations for a prosperous future. Both nations are eager to work together towards sustainable development objectives that benefit their people.
