Hamdan Bin Mohammed Highlights Empowerment Of Emirati Youth At Al Nokhba Programme Meeting
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, emphasised the importance of equipping young Emiratis with future-ready skills. He highlighted that these skills are crucial for building a sustainable, knowledge-based economy in the UAE. The focus is on education and innovation to empower youth to contribute significantly to national development and enhance the UAE's regional and global standing.
"Our wise leadership has always prioritised investing in minds before resources, recognising that people are the most enduring and impactful strategic asset. The innovations emerging across various national sectors today clearly demonstrate that Emiratis are not only keeping pace with global technological progress but are also at the forefront of leading and shaping it," H.H. stated.
The ‘Al Nokhba Programme’ plays a pivotal role in this vision by nurturing exceptional talent. Organised by the National Service and Reserve Authority, it collaborates with entities like the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office, Dubai Future Foundation, and Khalifa University. This initiative aims to support a knowledge-based economy by fostering innovation and leadership among participants.
During a meeting at Emirates Towers, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan met over 100 outstanding participants from the programme. The event was attended by notable figures such as Major General Pilot Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan and Omar Sultan Al Olama. The gathering showcased projects developed by Emirati talents in sectors like aviation, robotics, data science, biotechnology, telecommunications, space, and nuclear energy.
