Hamdan Bin Mohammed Inspects Wadi Al Amardi Housing Project And Approves AED 2 Billion Package
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, recently visited the Wadi Al Amardi housing project in Dubai. During his visit, he approved a housing package valued at over AED2 billion for Emirati citizens. The package aims to enhance living conditions through modern housing developments.
Sheikh Hamdan inspected ongoing projects and reviewed plans for new developments comprising more than 1,100 residential units. These projects are located in four key areas: Wadi Al Amardi, Al Aweer, Hatta, and Oud Al Muteena. The total investment in these projects exceeds AED2 billion.
The new housing initiatives will feature contemporary designs that align with the aspirations of Emirati families. These communities will offer advanced infrastructure, quality services, and comprehensive public facilities to ensure a high standard of living.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the efforts of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment team. He highlighted their role in delivering projects that support the well-being and stability of citizens, which remains a key government priority.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan reviewed a model of the homes being constructed. These homes are designed to meet high architectural and engineering standards. They aim to provide a comfortable and sustainable living environment that addresses privacy and quality needs.
A total of 1,163 housing units are currently under construction across several areas in Dubai. This includes 432 units in Wadi Al-Amardi valued at AED767.9 million, 398 units in Al Aweer valued at AED734.1 million, 213 units in Hatta valued at AED508.5 million, and 120 units in Oud Al Muteena valued at AED113.8 million.

The focus on integrating essential infrastructure and services into these developments underscores the commitment to citizen welfare. Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that ensuring the well-being of citizens is a top government priority.
