Hamdan Bin Mohammed Directs Establishment Of Annual Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Forum In Dubai
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has announced the establishment of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Leadership Forum as an annual event. This decision follows the success of its first edition, which was attended by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The second edition of this Forum is scheduled for 24th-25th September 2025. Organised by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development, it will gather leaders from Dubai and experts worldwide to share insights and strategies.

Sheikh Hamdan highlighted that the Forum embodies Sheikh Mohammed's vision to prepare future leaders who can transform challenges into opportunities. He stated, "The Forum serves as a strategic platform that plays a vital role in shaping Dubai's future directions and plans." The event aims to enhance strategic foresight and leadership practices based on the Mohammed Bin Rashid leadership model.
Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of the Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, emphasised that the Forum reflects Sheikh Mohammed’s management philosophy. It underscores strategic thinking and proactive leadership while focusing on comprehensive development and citizen welfare.
The annual organisation of this Forum is crucial for aligning future strategies with Dubai’s vision for global leadership. By bringing together local leaders and international experts, it facilitates discussions on innovative ideas essential for development.
The event will feature workshops, lectures, and discussions led by international experts. These sessions aim to equip participants with essential skills necessary for development in various fields.
Centre's Achievements and Collaborations
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development recently marked its 20th anniversary. Over these years, it has graduated more than 850 Emirati leaders, including seven ministers and ten under-secretaries. The Centre has collaborated with over 300 local and global experts along with 55 international universities to offer leadership training programmes.
These programmes focus on equipping future leaders with skills like adaptability and informed decision-making to tackle upcoming challenges effectively.
The Forum not only serves as a platform for exchanging ideas but also plays a pivotal role in shaping future strategies. It aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of fostering global leadership through innovative thinking and strategic planning.
