Hamdan Bin Mohammed Appoints Dr. Rabaa Al Sumaiti As CEO Of Rashid And Latifa Schools Establishment

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, has appointed Dr. Rabaa Al Sumaiti as CEO of the Rashid and Latifa Schools Establishment. This decision was formalised through Executive Council Resolution No. (15) of 2025. The resolution is effective immediately and will be published in the Official Gazette.

Dr. Rabaa Al Sumaiti has a rich background in education, having held key roles such as Assistant Undersecretary for the Performance Improvement Sector at the Ministry of Education and Director General of the Emirates Schools Establishment. Her experience extends to international platforms, where she represented the UAE on the Board of Trustees for PISA under OECD and participated in IEA's General Assembly.

Dr. Rabaa Al Sumaiti Named CEO of Rashid Schools

Dr. Al Sumaiti earned her PhD in International Education Management from the British University in Dubai, collaborating with the University of Birmingham, UK. She also holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Bristol, UK. Additionally, she is an alumna of both the Dubai Government Programme for Young Leaders and the UAE Government Programme for Executive Leaders.

The Rashid and Latifa Schools Establishment (RLSE) emerged from merging Rashid School for Boys and Latifa School for Girls. RLSE aims to offer an innovative educational environment that goes beyond conventional teaching methods, nurturing future leaders for the nation.

The establishment's mission is to cultivate a new generation equipped with skills necessary for leadership roles. By integrating modern educational practices, RLSE seeks to prepare students to meet future challenges effectively.

Dr. Al Sumaiti’s appointment aligns with RLSE's vision to enhance educational standards and foster leadership qualities among students. Her extensive experience will be instrumental in driving this vision forward.
