UAE: Gushcloud Partners With Multiple Companies To Revolutionise $250 Billion Content Creator Economy

The creator economy is currently valued at $250 billion, according to Goldman Sachs. It is expected to reach half a trillion dollars by 2027. Over 50 million people worldwide now identify as content creators.

To tap into this burgeoning sector, Gushcloud, a global company specialising in creator and IP management powered by AI, has partnered with various companies and business figures in the UAE. This collaboration aims to revolutionise the talent and creator economy in the Middle East.

Content Creator

This strategic move follows Gushcloud International's establishment of its 12th office in Abu Dhabi last year. The new office serves as a gateway to the MENA region and South Asia, marking its first presence in these areas.

Gushcloud has teamed up with Michel Chahda, founder and CEO of Talent Plus, to scout and sign talents, celebrities, and creators from the MENA region and South Asia. This partnership aims to bring opportunities to other parts of Asia and Hollywood, creating a two-way exchange of talent.

Talent Plus now benefits from Gushcloud's extensive network across Australia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the USA. This allows MENA- and South Asia-based talents to secure cross-border deals and participate in international campaigns. Conversely, Gushcloud will introduce more American and Asian talents to these regions under Michel Chahda's leadership.

This initiative is supported by ADM Holdings, owned by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum, and J&F Holdings, a private firm led by Faisal Belhoul. Belhoul is also the Vice Chairman of Dubai Chambers and a judge on Shark Tank Dubai.

"True to our vision of bridging the East with the West, we are now partners with Talent Plus, AMD Holdings, and J&F Holdings to strengthen our network and capabilities in these regions with untapped potential," said Althea Lim, Gushcloud CEO and Co-Founder. "We couldn't have chosen a better partner in Michel as he is an entertainment veteran in this part of the world."

Boosting MENA amp amp South Asia s Creator Scene

Michel Chahda brings two decades of experience in media and entertainment. He founded the talent management arm at MENA's leading content agency, generating millions by connecting brands with top regional and global talents. His expertise spans healthcare, technology, retail, beauty sectors, government entities in the Middle East, football industry connections with global clubs and star athletes.

"I am proud and excited to enter this new venture with Gushcloud on behalf of my company Talent Plus," said Michel Chahda. "Joining forces to combine our local knowledge of the markets and talents with Gushcloud's global network is a formidable combination."

The Middle East presents a promising market for creators. Strategy& reported that digital content will account for 46% of the projected $22 billion media spending by 2024 in the region. GlobalWebIndex (GWI) found that internet users there have an average of 8.4 social media accounts each. Another study indicated that MENA social media users spend an average of three-and-a-half hours daily on their screens.
