Sharjah Hosts F1H2O UIM World Championship

The "Sharjah Grand Prix" marks the final round of the 2024 World Championship for Powerboat Racing - Formula 1 - Road to Sharjah Race. This year, 19 competitors are participating in this thrilling race. The competition features racers from nine teams worldwide, with four contenders closely battling for the top position.

Al Kaabi confirmed that all preparations for hosting the 22nd edition of this championship have been completed. This has been achieved in collaboration with strategic and government partners in Sharjah, along with federal government support.

This year's event includes new attractions for spectators. A dedicated area has been set up with a viewing platform, electronic games, various restaurants, and small business projects. The Sharjah Institute for Heritage is also participating in these activities.

Al Kaabi encouraged the public to attend and enjoy the exciting competitions taking place on Khalid Lake. With a minimal points difference among top racers, both the World Championship and Sharjah Championship outcomes remain unpredictable.
