Global Leaders Commend UAE’s Vision And Leadership During BRIDGE Summit 2025
A diverse group of global leaders and innovators have praised President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his visionary leadership, which has positioned the UAE at the forefront of media and global content economy. Their comments, shared during BRIDGE Summit 2025, highlight the UAE's role as a stabilising force and a connector between continents, bringing together influential thinkers to address digital age challenges.
Speakers at the summit emphasised that BRIDGE is not just an event but a new global communication framework. It is the first platform to unite creators, technologists, policymakers, investors, cultural figures, and media leaders in one place. This gathering facilitates unprecedented exchanges between East and West, global institutions and independent creators, and public and private sectors.
Macky Sall, Former President of Senegal, described BRIDGE Summit as a natural extension of the UAE’s leadership. "I am very happy to participate in the first edition of Bridge Summit. The Bridge Summit reflects the role and leadership of the UAE," he said. Sall noted Abu Dhabi’s role as a connector for stakeholders to discuss ethics and transparency in networks and artificial intelligence.
Richard Attias, Strategic Adviser to the Chairman of the BRIDGE Alliance, highlighted the UAE’s human warmth and hospitality. "We lived in Dubai without a single difficulty," he said. Attias praised the vision of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for propelling the nation forward with clear plans and direction.
Bassem Youssef expressed appreciation for BRIDGE Summit’s organisation. "I express deep appreciation for the efforts behind organising BRIDGE Summit," he said. Dr. Michael Piwowar from Milken Institute admired the UAE’s strategic maturity in engaging with market participants and attracting investments through its sovereign wealth fund.
Kristine Mo from AI² Robotics appreciated BRIDGE’s scale and ambition. "I appreciate the UAE government for organising BRIDGE Summit at this scale," she stated. David Ford commended Abu Dhabi’s leadership in hosting an exceptional first edition of BRIDGE Summit.

Amit Amin emphasised that BRIDGE reflects UAE’s pivotal position linking technological advancement opportunities with government energy invested in building relationships.
Prabhu Narasimhan praised UAE's capacity to set global standards for ethical AI systems. "The world requires a safety vault... I believe the UAE can be that safety vault," he said. Chris Jacquemin from WME emphasised BRIDGE’s role in fuelling creative exchanges across borders.

Antoine Challita from Snap Inc., underscored how BRIDGE represents an ecosystem for showcasing AR technologies. "BRIDGE Summit 2025 gives us the opportunity to showcase our next-generation Spectacles," he stated. He highlighted collaborations integrating Spectacles into locally relevant AR experiences.
