Aviation professionals worldwide are set to converge in Dubai from 6th to 7th May for the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum (GALF). This event will explore significant trends and advancements poised to transform airport operations over the next quarter-century. According to ICAO forecasts, air passenger numbers could reach 12.4 billion during this period.

The forum, part of the 24th Airport Show, will feature over 50 experts, including aviation policymakers and technology specialists. Exploring Future Challenges at Global Airport Forum

Lt. Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA-Dubai, will deliver a keynote speech titled ‘Commitment to excellence and a proactive approach to shaping the future of aviation’. Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority will also present a keynote address during the forum.

Abdulla Al Shamsi, Director of Engineering at DAEP, will discuss ‘Innovation at the heart of airport evolution’. Additionally, Yann Guillemain from Amadeus will speak on ‘Commitment to excellence and a proactive approach to shaping the future of aviation’, highlighting strategies for industry advancement.

A C-Suite panel will examine innovative strategies and technologies driving aviation's future. Discussions will focus on airport expansion and new infrastructure development. These insights aim to guide stakeholders in navigating upcoming industry changes effectively.

The Airport Show has been a prominent B2B exhibition since 2001 in Dubai. It serves as a hub for discovering cutting-edge technologies and innovations in the airport industry across MEASA regions. Attendees can gain knowledge on current trends and future perspectives.

The event is held under H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum's patronage at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Alongside GALF, two conferences—Airport Security Middle East and Air Traffic Control (ATC) Forum—will provide further learning opportunities for participants.
