GETEX 2024 To Highlight AI, Sustainability, And Leadership In Spring Edition
The Global Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX), the premier student recruitment event in the UAE, is gearing up for its spring edition, which is scheduled to take place from 24th to 26th April 2024. This event is designed to cater to the evolving needs of the education sector, with a particular focus on technological advancements, progress in science and medicine, and future career paths. Key areas of emphasis include artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability, and leadership.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, GETEX will span three days. It aims to assemble a multitude of international universities, each proudly flying their national flags. These institutions are making their first appearance in the UAE, eager to connect with potential students while assessing the possibilities for establishing a regional presence in one of the world's most rapidly expanding education hubs.

Anselm Godinho, Managing Director at International Conferences and Exhibitions and Organiser of GETEX, expressed pride in hosting this edition of the exhibition. He highlighted that GETEX would feature post-school study options for the 2024 batch alongside post-graduate and training opportunities for working adults. These offerings are tailored to align with trending jobs and career advancement opportunities.
Furthermore, Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) will participate in the event, demonstrating its support and encouraging engagement among students, parents, and other stakeholders in education. The UAE boasts a highly competitive and diverse school system that produces some of the world's top-performing students.
The exhibition will showcase educational institutions from over 40 countries, including but not limited to the USA, India, UK, Russia, China, Australia, Turkey, Malaysia, Germany, Canada, and Hungary. This presents an unparalleled opportunity for students and parents to engage with leading education recruiters globally and explore a wide range of study options both within the region and internationally.
This year's GETEX will also introduce various innovative programs such as ‘Urban Design,’ ‘Artificial Intelligence,’ ‘Cyber Security,’ ‘Big Data,’ and ‘Sustainable & Renewable Energy’. These programs are designed to prepare students for the trending jobs and careers of the future. Additionally, this edition will feature a China pavilion with over 25 universities, an Indian pavilion with more than 30 universities, and representation from countries across GCC, Europe, North America, and Asia.
With an array of live seminars and other activities planned, GETEX 2024 promises to offer numerous innovative opportunities for students. It aims to broaden their horizons by enabling them to explore further education and professional development pathways.
