GDRFA-Dubai And Dubai Courts Enhance Judicial Services With Digital Cooperation Agreement
The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA-Dubai) and Dubai Courts have entered into a digital cooperation agreement. This initiative aims to establish an electronic linkage mechanism between the two entities. The goal is to facilitate judicial inquiry services and ensure secure, efficient digital data exchange, thereby enhancing the integrated government work system in Dubai.
The agreement was formalised at GITEX Global 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It was signed by Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA-Dubai, and Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Dubai Courts. Several senior officials from both organisations were also present during the signing ceremony.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri highlighted that this agreement marks a significant step towards bolstering intergovernmental cooperation and integrating digital services across Dubai's entities. He emphasised that this partnership aligns with leadership directives to create a cohesive digital government working as one team to serve the public.
Al Marri stated, "This agreement reflects GDRFA-Dubai’s commitment to developing a secure and interconnected digital system that simplifies the customer journey and enhances quality of life, in line with our ongoing efforts to accelerate service delivery and improve government efficiency." This underscores their dedication to improving service delivery and government efficiency.
Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi expressed that the agreement signifies a strong institutional partnership among Dubai's government entities. He noted that it enhances technical collaboration to streamline procedures. "This collaboration represents an advanced model of joint government work based on leveraging digital solutions to facilitate judicial procedures, in alignment with the courts’ mission to achieve swift justice through an integrated judicial system and innovative services accessible to all, contributing to strengthening global confidence in Dubai."
The electronic linkage will be implemented via the GSB platform of Digital Dubai Authority. This will enable secure data exchange for judicial inquiry requests and allow electronic fee payments through Al Adheed centres. Additionally, it will provide joint technical and operational support to maintain service continuity with high security standards.
