Gabriel Sousa triumphed over Ruan Alvarenga in the main event of the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC 11) at ADNEC Centre, Al Ain. This marked the second time the event united top jiu-jitsu and grappling talents globally. Sousa showcased dominance in the lightweight division, securing victory with a rear-naked choke against fellow Brazilian Alvarenga.
The championship, organised by International Vision Sports Management alongside the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, featured ten bouts within an octagonal cage. The event attracted a large audience, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Daniel Barbosa's win over Haibula Aviev was another highlight of the night.

Helena Crevar from the USA claimed victory over Finland’s Salla Simola in the co-main event. She achieved her second submission win at ADXC by focusing on leg attacks before breaking through Simola's defence. "I am proud to secure my second submission win at Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship," Crevar stated after her win.
The main card also included Seilkhan Bolatbek's unanimous decision victory over Kenzo Biyong in a grappling match. Fans enjoyed high-level clashes as competitors from around the world delivered thrilling performances, enhancing Abu Dhabi's reputation for hosting elite combat sports events.
In preliminary matches, Brazilian Arthur Souza defeated Breno Pittizer, while Emirati Ammar Al Hosani overcame Kazakhstan’s Dabyl Abdulla in jiu-jitsu. Joao Arthur bested Emirati Ghanim Al Ali in a showcase bout. Felipe Fernandes defeated Hadi Abbas, and Obaid Al Ketbi triumphed over Victor Souza. Lastly, Raimundo Almeida secured a win against Mohammed Saeed Al Ketbi.
Several dignitaries attended ADXC 11, including Saleh Mohammed Al Geziry and Saeed Al Dhaheri from the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi. They joined organisers in awarding winners and celebrating the successful event that drew significant attention from combat sports fans worldwide.
