G42, a prominent AI and technology group in the UAE, has entered a multi-year partnership with UAE Team Emirates XRG. This collaboration is set to begin before the 2025 UCI World Tour cycling season. The partnership highlights both organisations' dedication to innovation and excellence in professional cycling.
The alliance will see G42 become the official AI partner of UAE Team Emirates XRG. They will use advanced solutions to boost the team's performance on and off the track. By employing analytics, machine learning, and real-time data processing, G42 and its portfolio company Analog aim to provide insights that enhance training, race strategies, and rider performance.

Peng Xiao, CEO of G42 Group, expressed pride in partnering with UAE Team Emirates XRG again. He stated, "We’re incredibly proud to once again be partnering with UAE Team Emirates XRG, who sit at the pinnacle of professional cycling." He emphasised how AI technology can significantly benefit performance. The team aims to build on their successful 2024 campaign with support from G42's cutting-edge technology.
Mauro Gianetti, CEO and Team Principal of UAE Team Emirates XRG, shared his enthusiasm about the partnership. The team boasts a roster of top-tier riders, including Tadej Pogacar, a three-time Tour de France champion. Their 2025 campaign will kick off later this month at Australia's Tour Down Under before returning home for the UAE Tour in February.
