H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi Discusses Future Wealth Focused On Human Capital And Shared Prosperity
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, spoke at the Global Citizen Forum. He shared his vision for wealth centred on human capital and collective prosperity. The event, under his patronage, gathered mobility experts and family offices to discuss how global citizenship can enhance generational wealth planning.
In his keynote speech, H.H. Sheikh Saud stressed the importance of understanding wealth beyond material assets. He highlighted investments in education, healthcare, and innovation as crucial. "The future of wealth lies not solely in financial capital, but in human capital," he stated. "It lies in the investments we make in education, in healthcare, in fostering innovation and creativity."
Ras Al Khaimah is committed to a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation and entrepreneurship. H.H. Sheikh Saud emphasised investing in people as a priority for the Emirate. He highlighted the need to equip individuals with skills and resources to succeed in the modern world.
"True wealth – wealth that matters and wealth that endures – lies in the strength of our communities," he affirmed. "In the resilience of our societies and in the shared prosperity of all our citizens." This underscores Ras Al Khaimah's dedication to empowering its citizens for a sustainable future.
Sheikh Saud acknowledged Family Offices as key players in national economic growth and innovation. He encouraged them to embrace their role in achieving long-term economic objectives by investing in sustainable projects. Their involvement is vital for driving progress and fostering a prosperous future.
The Ruler concluded by urging global cooperation for collective advancement. He called on attendees to invest in human creativity and work towards a future where prosperity benefits everyone equally.

The Future of Wealth is part of the Butterfly Effect Trilogy within the Global Citizen Forum. This social action platform promotes global citizenship culture. In collaboration with Prestel & Partner, leaders in Family Office Forum conferences, it is presented by Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA).
The exclusive Family Office Global Citizen Forum will occur from 4th to 5th December 2024 over two days. It aims to foster discussions on advancing global citizenship through strategic partnerships and innovative approaches.
