Future Minerals Forum And BMO Join Forces To Boost Global Mining Investment Opportunities
The Future Minerals Forum (FMF) has announced a collaboration with BMO, a leading investment bank in metals and mining. This partnership aims to boost global mineral development by promoting investments and engaging targeted investors. BMO will share its expertise as FMF gathers mining company leaders and major investors to explore international investment opportunities in the sector.
Executive Director of FMF, Ali Al-Mutairi, highlighted the significance of this collaboration, stating it is a first for FMF. He noted that this step is crucial in facilitating mineral development investments in Africa, Western and Central Asia, and globally. "By joining forces, we can create opportunities that not only benefit our organizations but also contribute to the growth and sustainability of the mineral sector in the MENA, the Super Region, and beyond," he said.

The upcoming FMF event in Riyadh from 13 to 15 January 2026 will introduce several new elements under the theme ‘Gateway to Funding’. One key feature will be closed-door information sessions led by BMO. These sessions aim to educate potential local and regional investors on the entire mineral value chain, covering exploration through to processing.
Additionally, FMF and BMO will jointly host strategy presentations by major mining companies. These presentations offer investors a unique chance to engage directly with industry leaders. This initiative forms part of the Gateway to Funding stream, enhancing investor access to capital opportunities.
Through such strategic partnerships, FMF continues its role as a global platform connecting investors, policymakers, and industry leaders. The forum is dedicated to shaping the future of minerals by fostering collaborations that drive sector growth. Registration for FMF 2026 is currently open for interested participants.
This partnership marks a significant milestone for FMF as it seeks to enhance investment opportunities within the mineral sector. By leveraging BMO's expertise, FMF aims to create a robust platform that benefits both organizations while contributing positively to regional and global mineral development.
