Fujairah's Young Techpreneurs Initiative Launched To Enhance Youth Skills In Technology
The Fujairah's Young Techpreneurs initiative was launched at the Zayed Educational Complex in Fujairah. This programme, under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, is organised by the Office of the Crown Prince in collaboration with Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU). It will run for three months and includes 244 students, comprising 130 boys and 114 girls.
Dr Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, highlighted that this initiative aligns with the Crown Prince's vision to empower youth in shaping a digital future. This effort supports ongoing development transformations in Fujairah across key sectors and enhances the UAE's competitive standing in its developmental vision.

The initiative has attracted significant interest from Fujairah's youth aged 7 to 15. Participants come from various regions, eager to enhance their skills through the programme's offerings in technology, innovation, and creativity. The programme provides a comprehensive educational platform combining theoretical and practical knowledge in an interactive setting.
Delivered by experts over three months, this unique initiative aims to equip participants with advanced skills in fields like cybersecurity, programming, and artificial intelligence. The programme employs an integrated educational model featuring interactive workshops and practical simulations to foster learning in programming and AI.
Upon completion of the initiative, participants will receive a certification accredited by Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), which is recognised as the first accredited smart university in the UAE. This certification serves as a testament to their acquired skills and knowledge.
This initiative reflects a broad response from young individuals keen on developing their abilities and gaining insights into technology-driven fields. By participating, they benefit from an environment that encourages innovation and creativity while preparing them for future challenges.
