Fujairah's Young Techpreneurs Initiative Launched To Empower Youth In Advanced Technologies
Fujairah's Young Techpreneurs initiative has been launched under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. This programme, in collaboration with Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), is tailored for UAE nationals in grades 3 to 9 studying in Fujairah. Running from 6th April to 10th July 2025, it aims to nurture youth entrepreneurship in advanced technologies.
The initiative will cover three main areas: programming fundamentals and AI tools, advanced programming and machine learning, and entrepreneurship with advanced technologies and cybersecurity. It seeks to position Fujairah as a hub for youth entrepreneurship by equipping students with essential technological skills and fostering creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, emphasised the importance of specialised initiatives for Emirati youth. He stated, "Through initiatives directed at Emirati youth, we aim to ensure the building of a bright future that benefits the entire local community." He highlighted the commitment to strategic partnerships and specialised programmes aligned with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi's directives.
The programme offers interactive sessions and educational opportunities tailored for different age groups. It promotes continuous learning and prepares students for future careers in technology fields. The blended learning approach combines classroom, remote, and group learning methods. Assessments will include quizzes, practical activities, and final projects to evaluate student progress effectively.
Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of HBMSU, remarked on the university's role in preparing future minds by empowering youth with technological knowledge. He said, "Our collaboration with Fujairah's Young Techpreneurs initiative reflects our commitment to our educational and developmental role in preparing a generation capable of turning challenges into opportunities."
Strategic Partnerships for Youth Empowerment
Dr. Al Awar further added that their partnership with the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah shares a vision to enhance Fujairah's position as a leading hub for youth in technology fields. The initiative provides an educational model that prepares innovative entrepreneurs capable of leading the digital future with competitive global skills.
The final list will include 200 students from participating schools across Fujairah. This initiative aims to instil a culture of continuous learning while encouraging students to explore their creative capabilities through activities simulating real business environments.
This programme is designed as an advanced educational platform offering students a rich experience combining theoretical and practical learning. It opens new horizons for understanding modern technologies like cybersecurity, programming, and artificial intelligence while fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among young learners.
