Fujairah Ruler Highlights UAE Armed Forces’ Role In National Stability And Humanitarian Commitment

On the occasion of the 48th Armed Forces Unification Day, H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, delivered a poignant speech emphasizing the pivotal role of the UAE Armed Forces in bolstering the nation's unity, progress, and stability. The Armed Forces' dedication to humanitarian values and ethical principles was highlighted as a source of national pride.

Sheikh Hamad reminisced about the historic day of 6th May 1976, when the UAE Armed Forces were unified under one flag and one command. This strategic move was aimed at protecting the nation and upholding its rights. He credited the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the Members of the Supreme Council of the Union for their visionary leadership in achieving this milestone.

The unification of the Armed Forces was described as a cornerstone for the security and reassurance of UAE citizens, a sentiment that remains strong to this day. Sheikh Hamad expressed confidence in the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his commitment to safeguarding the region's security and stability.

Sheikh Hamad paid tribute to the sacrifices of the UAE Armed Forces' martyrs, acknowledging their role in maintaining the nation's prosperity, stability, and security. He emphasized the importance of continuing modernization efforts initiated by Sheikh Zayed to ensure a prosperous future for the Emirates.

Reaffirming his support for the Armed Forces, Sheikh Hamad pledged to enhance their defensive capabilities and encourage innovation within their ranks. He praised their ability to adapt to challenges and integrate advanced military technologies to maintain national security.

The speech also recognized the invaluable contributions of those serving on the front lines, hailing them as true heroes whose sacrifices have created a legacy of valour and honour.

Sheikh Hamad concluded by extending congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and other Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates. He prayed for continued blessings of security and stability upon the country and its Armed Forces.
