Fujairah Crown Prince Welcomes World Taekwondo Federation President During Championships Opening

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, recently welcomed Dr. Choue Chung-won, President of the World Taekwondo Federation, along with the Federation’s Executive Board members at Al Rumaila Palace. This meeting coincided with the start of the World Taekwondo Cadet Championships – Fujairah 2025, featuring over 800 athletes globally. The event will run until 14th May.

H.H. highlighted that hosting international sports events like taekwondo championships aligns with Fujairah's strategic goal to become a global sports hub. This vision aims to nurture both local and international young athletic talent by providing an inspiring environment for their development.
